You're not alone if you're having trouble matching your artwork to your space. Here's the thing, with a few simple changes in your space, your interior will look professionally designed.

First and foremost, the frame. Frames and mats will instantly transform any artwork. If you're looking to modernize your art, consider a simple black frame and perhaps adding a mat. If your space is more transitional, custom neutral wood frames or vintage frames are great options.

Secondly, accessories. Add a few throw pillows, a vase or a throw blanket into the room in a similar colour palette to the painting, and your interior feel much more harmonious.

Finally size/location of your artwork. Hanging a too small artwork can look disproportionate and draw the eye. As a general rule, keep the artwork around half to 2/3 the size of the object it's hanging above for the best effect. If your artwork is on the smaller side, add a mat and custom frame your piece larger to solve this issue.
