3 Tips For Framed Sets

Matching
When framing a set of pieces, there are several ways to make the set feel cohesive. The easiest is to match the frames in the set. A modern set of white or black wood framed prints looks amazing in any contemporary space. Next, the subject matter, what are you framing? Is it a set of art prints, some old quilts, your grandfather's paintings, family photographs? Try to keep a theme in the set, whether that is subject of the framed objects, the frames or the colour palette.
Location
When choosing the location, take a look at the colours and style in the space, and match the frames to this style. For example, if the room is more modern, stick to a thinner black frame, but if the space is more traditional, maybe stick to neutral wood frames. Also bring in some decor pieces in the room to match the set such as throw blankets and pillows, small furniture or trinkets.
Sizing
Custom framed sets look great in larger empty spaces such as hallways, stairwells or over larger furniture like a couch or bed. Since it's a set, consider the size of the location you're hanging the pieces in. As a general rule, try to stick to the pieces all together being around 2/3 of the size of the object they're hung above. To create more of a focal point or if you're hanging them in an empty hallway or stairwell, you can go larger to visually fill up the space.
